The 2017 NASL Regular Season comes to a close this weekend as the New York Cosmos welcome Puerto Rico FC to MCU Park.

The boys in green enter Saturdays match coming off of an exciting eight goal draw in Jacksonville last weekend. David Ochieng, Eugene Starikov, Lucky Mkosana and Jimmy Mulligan all found the scoresheet as the Cosmos earned a point in the 4-4 draw.
Puerto Rico FC come into this one with a much better result midweek. The Caribbean side scored two first-half goals courtesy of Jordi Quintillá and Héctor Ramos and held on to defeat FC Edmonton
The New York Cosmos remain undefeated against their upcoming opponents, including the five times they’ve faced this season. The most recent battle took place on the 18th of October, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Brooklyn Boys had their way with PRFC, putting four past the La Naranja. An Ayoze brace along with goals from Eugene Starikov and Bljedi Bardic lifted the boys in green to victory. Puerto Rico did avoid being shutout as second-half substitute, Jorge Rivera, found the back of the net in the 90th minute.
Who to Watch
For the visitors, forward Héctor Ramos is the one to keep an eye on. The 27 year-old has found the scoresheet four times this campaign, most recently being in PRFC’s midweek win over FC Edmonton.
Forward, Eugene Starikov is a big threat to the Caribbean side coming into this weekend. The Ukrainian has scored four goals on the season, two being in the last two games.
